Metropolitan Management Co. in Madison Park, Seattle is looking for an entry-level, organized, detail-oriented, property management professional to join our corporate team as Receptionist & Administrative Assistant. We specialize in multi-family real estate acquisition and management throughout the Puget Sound area.

We are looking for someone with minimum one year of experience in a property management administrative role who is detail orientated, motivated, sharp, positive, flexible, organized and has excellent communication and follow up skills. The candidate should be a problem solver, work with little supervision, work well under pressure and complete assignment deadlines on time. On any given day, you will be multi-tasking, providing support to the team, and doing office work. Phone, email, mail and personal interaction are vital parts of this position. This position is very fast paced and you should be able to work and multi task through interruptions. For the right individual, this is an exciting, challenging and rewarding position.

Job Duties:
• Operate multi-line phone system and directing calls
• Manage and distribute incoming faxes and appropriate emails
• Sort and distribute mail daily
• Enter work orders for tenants
• Prepare Federal Express, Certified Mail and UPS packages
• Cross-train with other staff members
• Run weekly and monthly reports
• General office support: scanning, filing and data entry
• Order and unpack, organize office supplies
• Office equipment troubleshooting and maintenance (change printer toners, re-fill postage meter, fill paper trays, call for repairs)
• Light housekeeping/hospitality duties
• Other duties as assigned

Skills & Qualification Requirements:
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an administrative role
• Professional front office conduct and phone etiquette
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
• Experience with multi-line telephone systems
• Reliable and punctual
• Well organized and detail oriented
• Driven, pro-active self-starter with high standards of quality, enjoys pressure with a "can do" attitude
• Excellent time management, problem solving and prioritization skills
• Friendly/positive attitude
• Open to constructive criticism

Credit and Criminal background check required prior to employment
Schedule: 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday-Friday
Minimum Education: HS Diploma or GED
Compensation: Salary position at $34,000/year
Mileage reimbursement for work related tasks

Benefits package: Paid medical + vision after 90 days, eligible for dental insurance after 90 days, 401K after 1 year of employment, eligible for FSA program during open enrollment. Paid holidays and sick time, vacation time starts accruing on start of employment.
