I am seeking a female roots/bluegrass vocal duet partner
Guitarist who loves earlier country/roots/bluegrass/old time music is looking for a female to collaborate with to develop some skills and have fun singing old style duets.
Think Carter Family, Gillian Welch, Louvin Brothers, Prine/DeMent, Rice/Skaggs, Cash/Carter, Ola Bell Reed.
I would hope that you play an instrument to an intermediate level, or advanced beginner level - guitar, mando or banjo or bass. No ukes please. I would hope you have some basic musical theory knowledge - understand how to find your comfortable key for any song, probably Nashville numbering system, be able to talk measures, beats, etc....nothing too complex or deep, because my knowledge isn't that deep, but we need to know enough so we can get around the music.
