Dedicated Bass Player Looking To Commit

Hi, everyone! I hope your holidays have been good. My name is Mike. I'm a bass player looking to join a band that wants to play shows and record. I want more than anything to play on stage and make music my full time job. Now, when I say I'm a bass player, I don't mean I reached for the guitar last and got stuck with it. Bass is the instrument I'm dedicated to and love. Basically, I'm looking for my forever band. Whether it's a new project or something more established, I want to know about it.

I'm told that my playing style is similar to Andy Rourke from The Smiths (though I won't pretend I'm that talented). My influences are quite varied. Bands like The Beths, Shishamo, and The Beaches sit right alongside bands like Against Me, NOFX, and Alkaline Trio. There's tons of different examples, but I don't want us to be here all day.

I have all the gear I need to play just about any venue and reliable transportation, so that's no problem. I also have plenty of experience in the Seattle music scene, so I'm familiar with navigating that world. If you want to know more about me, then please feel free to ask me whatever!
