Recent sentimental impulse buy - not to be confused with their infamous SHS-10 toy from '87, this is a professional instrument: metal frame, touch sensitive keys with aftertouch, pitch riboon, mod/volume/portamento speed wheels, mono/poly, MIDI channel (1/2), and bank/patch switches.

Released alongside the DX7 (with similar tank-like build quality), it was often seen in use by Jan Hammer, Chick Corea, etc. Great piece of history that still works perfectly - have been using it both with soft synths and a Moog Sub37 (the bank/patch buttons even worked out of the box with that).

Runs on a 9v battery and includes the strap and a MIDI cable. Only selling because it pushed me into buying a newer one with even more controls/parameters.
