Stealth with a sting. This is ‘Scorpio’ a modern update to Fender’s classic Telecasters of the ‘60s. As we say at Custom Scorpion Guitars, ‘A little different, a lot better’. And Scorpio is a perfect example. All our Player Series guitars are hand-built and hand wired from parts especially selected for their sound, quality, and value. These include new parts sourced from Fender, Musiclily, Bourns, Pure Tone, Oak Grigsby, and other top manufacturers.
Player Series For The Serious Musician
Finished in Gloss Black, Scorpio features fully noiseless Tele pickups at the bridge and neck. They are backed up by a heavy-duty 4-way switch and specially designed electronics. These include smooth volume and tone pots, and a special tone contour switch. Plus, the fourth switch position yields hot series wiring. The combination provides classic Tele growl and twang along with additional contemporary tones. The best of both worlds…without hum!
But Scorpio’s quality and features don’t stop there. Her custom-cut maple neck is smooth and fast, with a low action fretboard and a graphite nut. Slinky D’Addario XL10s strings are anchored to an import Fender Telecaster bridge. At the other end, locking tuners and a roller string guide lets you bend notes all night long while staying in perfect tune.
