25th Anniversary MTD 635-24 model 6-string bass guitar; very limited number made that year (2019)
Here's a playlist of this bass in action: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLY0bDypLpe7c_vyNykBok9u_4rnBj3mTl
24-fret, super slim one-piece hard ash neck, exceptionally figured 5A burled walnut top on northern ash body, 2 sets of pickups AND preamps as well as custom crafted slap ramp, MTD hybrid hard bag & more. Only 9 lbs 11 oz! Lighter than my other 635-24 and even my 535.
Extremely figured birdseye maple board was submerged to pull out the resin and is roughly 40 years old per Dan Tobias' comment (see screenshot); exceptionally growly and aggressive tone.
Comes with original, proprietary Bartolini/MTD pickups and preamp, but also top of the market John East EasTone Uni-Pre (4 knob, 3-band) with passive tone control (currently installed) and equally spendy Bartolini Classic Bass dual coil pickups (currently installed) - as well as an expertly crafted Brazilian Rosewood slap ramp (fully removable with standard truss rod cover underneath, mounts with the same screws as truss rod cover), matching 5A walnut control hole plug provided by MTD for use with the 4-knob East preamp, and modern MTD hybrid hard bag - a roughly $800 value in add-ons.
I'll configure the bass as you'd prefer prior to shipping - you can keep the EasTone preamp and dual coil pickups installed, or I can swap back in the stock MTD NS3TMB Bartolini preamp and stock MTD USA Bartolini pickups, removing the matched walnut control hole plug. And of course the optional components will be yours to enjoy either way.
Original matched walnut knobs included (John East knobs installed).
Immaculate condition; only the very smallest of marks at one corner of the headstock's peak; no scratches, buckle rash of any kind, dents on the underside and bottom in those often high-traffic and incident prone areas.
