I am selling my Doozietone Lap Steel Guitar. I built this guitar a couple of years ago to the specifications of the Duesenberg Fairytale. It's a 25.5 inch scale length The body is Honduran Mahogany. The body is dense and very musical. It has great sustain. The tuners are Schaller 18:1 ratio for exact fine tuning. The nut has gauged rollers so that the strings are on the same plane. The fretboard is Richlite with nickel frets. The pickups are Lollar PAF Imperials. The bender is a Duesenberg Multibender with two levers. The strings are Duesenberg, like on the Fairytale guitars. The tuning is open D (D A D F# A D) . The second string bender raises the A to B. The third string bender raises the F# to G. The pickup switch is Bridge - Both Bridge and Neck - Neck. The volume and tone are traditional humbucker V 500K T 250K. Padded case is included. My guitar doesn't have an integral capodaster like the Fairytale but I will include a 6 string Charlie's capo.

I am offering the guitar at a fraction of the cost of a Fairytale. The parts alone total up to more than I am asking. I am selling this guitar because I have built another guitar, a console steel with some unique features, that I am playing more than this guitar.
