Up for sale is my custom guitar. I wanted to build an electric guitar that was symmetrical so either a right-handed or left-handed player could play it. Of course, the lefty would have to be someone like Dick Dale or Albert King who played the guitar left-handed strung right.
I went with a Fender Telecaster style body shape with dual cutaways. Waldrop Guitars out of Texas built this custom Barn-caster Knotty Pine body.
I got together with a 3D printer company, and they helped design and produce the cool "Lefty/Righty" truss-rod cover for me. Hold the guitar right-handed and it reads "Righty", hold it left-handed and it reads "Lefty". NOTE: I have extra truss-rod covers I'll throw in with sale.
Everything is centered on this guitar: It's got the 1/4" Combo Jack/Strap Button mounted on the middle tail side and the volume knob on center top. I put strap buttons on both horns to accommodate wearing the guitar either way.
The surface mounted pickup is a gold foil S grill Alnico V 6k single coil. Nice quality smooth hardtail bridge with brass saddles. Chrome neck plate, string thru body Ferrule. Kluson style deluxe tuners.
The bolt on neck is Canada Maple (Kmise brand) with a satin finish, and symmetrical headstock. Nice "perfect fit" hardshell guitar case too (with keys). The bridge radius and saddle intonation are dialed in perfectly and the guitar plays excellent, but the frets are a little sharp on their edges.
Buy my prototype guitar and start a line of lefty/righty guitars. This one's ready for your custom paint job too!
