For sale it the killer playing Whitehall /Yanagisawa A-4 Stencil alto sax Serial #972158.
This Vintage A4 Yanagisawa Whitehall model alto was made by Yanagisawa in their Japan factory sometime in the early 1970’s. Yanagisawa introduced this professional A4 model around 1965 and discontinued it around 1975.

The 4 series of horns have a very centered tone and shows a major amount of influence from the Selmer Mark VI without being a true copy.
This is a fantastic playing alto sax. It plays very in tune, and has that huge open sound that Yanagisawa saxes are known for.

It has just been serviced with over $280.00 worth of repair. The pads are a mix of new and older, but all of them are sealing air tight from top to bottom.

It comes in a hard-shell case, no mouthpiece.
