For sale are some fantastic playing Vintage Rico V cut Brown Box Alto Saxophone, Sax, Reeds.

Here is what I currently have:

(4) Boxes of Rico V cut Brown Box 25 reeds per box Alto size #5 available. -- $40.00 ea. box
(3) Boxes of Rico Royal 10 reeds per box Alto (Same vintage as the Brown Box above) Size #5 Available -- $20.00 ea. box
(1) Box LaVoz 10 reeds per box Alto (Same vintage as the Brown Box above) Size H or Hard --$20.00 ea. box.

If you know anything about these vintage Rico reeds in the brown box, you will know how fantastic they play. I have found no equals that plays like them in the newer reeds out there. I can attest the the Rico Royal and the LaVoz also play fantastic.

These are from my private stash of reeds that I purchased from a music store that went out of business back in the late 80’s. I am pretty sure that these reeds have been ageing since the 1970’s or longer.

They are new old stock, still sealed and unopened. They are all Boxed in 25 reeds per box, and all size 5. I am asking $75 for a box of 25 reeds. I am pretty sure you will agree that they are worth this once you play them.

Though they are stiff out of the box, but they can be easily be sanded down to soften them to play to your preference. That is exactly what I have been doing for years with these killer reeds, but alas, I am now retired and I will never be able to go through all these reeds. I would be happy to share how I sand them for use.

So here is a great chance to acquire these very rare killer playing reeds for yourself.
