About Us:
J&K Commercial Construction is a commercial kitchen fabrication facility specializing in high-quality food service equipment and systems. We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman to join our growing team.

Position Overview:
The Draftsman will utilize AutoCAD and Inventor (or SolidWorks) to create detailed fabrication drawings and 3D models for commercial kitchen equipment and construction-related projects. This role requires the ability to work with minimal supervision while collaborating closely with engineers and project managers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work independently with minimal supervision once tasks are assigned
- Create detailed CAD drawings and fabrication-ready designs
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to develop design specifications
- Utilize AutoCAD and Inventor (or SolidWorks) to produce accurate 2D and 3D models
- Review project plans and specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Prepare and maintain project documentation and reports
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on improvements or modifications

Requirements:
Experience Levels:
- Intern / Entry-Level: Minimum 2 years of experience with AutoCAD and Inventor
- Mid-Level: 3–5+ years of experience with AutoCAD and Inventor
Qualifications:
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Inventor (SolidWorks experience is a plus)
• Strong understanding of sheet metal design and fabrication processes
• Experience with 3D modeling of equipment and structural systems
• Experience detailing sheet metal
• Experience producing shop fabrication drawings
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly pay range: $30.00 – $60.00 per hour (DOE)

Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Overtime available and occasionally required
