Another barely-ridden used motorcycle has rolled into the shop, and this one is a beauty. This 2023 Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled in Iceberg White and Sparking Blue just came in, purchased new from Ducati Redmond back in late 2022. With a couple of other bikes competing for attention in the owner’s garage—and a shift toward doing more serious off-road riding—this Desert Sled didn’t see much action at all.
It comes fitted with a great-sounding Leo Vince slip-on exhaust, giving the bike a deeper, more characterful note without being over the top. A tidy rear fender eliminator kit was also installed, tucking the plate nicely under the tail and really cleaning up the back end of the bike. Our techs went through it thoroughly, completed the first break-in service, and flushed the hydraulic systems. They didn’t find a hint of damage, abuse, or neglect—this is a clean, low-mile Desert Sled that’s been well cared for and lightly used.
Included with the bike are the stock exhaust, both factory keys, the stock exhaust, our service records, and a verified WA title. The owner’s manual is being tracked down as we speak.
Extended warranty options are available.
PRESS
The 2023 Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled delivers that rare mix of style, charm, and real capability. The moment you hop on, the tall bars and long-travel suspension give it a ready-for-adventure feel, and the 803 cc L-twin provides just the right amount of punch—smooth around town, playful in the midrange, and lively enough to make backroads fun. On the street, it feels light and flickable, though you do notice the wind once you're above highway speeds.
Take it onto gravel or a forest service road, and the bike really comes alive. The extra suspension travel and sturdier chassis give it far more confidence off-pavement than the standard Scrambler models. It’s not a lightweight dirt bike, so you feel the mass in slow, technical sections, but once you pick up some speed, it stays stable and soaks up bumps nicely. Standing on the pegs feels natural, and the Pirelli dual-sport tires offer a good balance of street grip and off-road traction.
There are a few quirks—the fuel gauge isn’t the most accurate, the engine runs warm in slow riding, and Ducati’s maintenance intervals come a bit sooner—but none of that overshadows the experience. The 2023 Sparking Blue color scheme looks fantastic, and the bike has the kind of presence that turns heads every time you park it.
Overall, the Desert Sled is a fun, character-filled machine built for riders who want a scrambler that’s genuinely capable beyond the pavement while still being a blast on the street.
