I bought this at the estate sale of a Boeing engineer. He wasn’t around to ask him what it was made for. He was using it as a hanging flower basket. I have since removed the wires. I’ve had and have not come up for a good use for it and now it is here on CL. It is made of aluminum or some other strong lightweight metal. The lobby ashtray is not included. Price is firm.
