It is finished with what Shaw calls its "ScufResist Platinum" finish. With this UV-cured finish, the 1.2mm layer of maple wood rarely requires full refinishing. But if you must, utilize a "screen and recoat" method - a light surface buffing rather than deep sanding - to renew the finish.
Its retail price runs somewhere in the neighborhood of $120-ish per carton (23.66 sq. ft.).
