1205 Marketing is a growing marketing and advertising agency, based in Seattle Washington and serving clients around the US. Our team - a distributed network of professional creatives, project managers, and strategists - focuses on an integrated marketing approach that drives brand recognition and engagement across the consumer and business ecosystems.

We currently offer expertise in six core service categories, including branding, design, content, digital, public relations, and out-of-home marketing. Our existing client base ranges from young cannabis startups to established eCommerce brands, with many verticals in between. We love watching our clients grow and hope you'll be interested in joining us.

This is currently a contract "as needed" roll. We do however have a regular stream of online advertising work coming in. Our hope is to grow this into a regular long-term position. Until then, we understand that you'll have other work on your hands. We keep a wide range of hours and aside from regular collaboration and meeting availability, don't have a preference for when you choose to get your work done - as long as you make deadline.


JOB DESCRIPTION
In this position you will be working to support 1205 project leaders by building online advertising campaigns on behalf of our clients. You will embed with our team and act as our resident expert in all things paid media. This may include advising on and building search, display, social, shopping, and affiliate advertising campaigns as well as helping us to understand which strategies are successful in achieving our goals and why.

You will routinely work under and alongside other 1205 managers and contractors, including project managers, strategists, designers, developers, technical marketers, and analytics professionals in order to achieve your goals. As a part of our core services team, you may occasionally be asked to provide input on various proposals and interact with paid media clients in order to help them better understand our work. You will also be asked to participate in helping us understand the broader impact of paid media on each campaign.



RESPONSIBILITIES
You will generally be responsible for working with the assigned PM to solicit information about the client's goals, advertising history, and target audiences. After gaining sign off, you will be responsible for requesting those assets or collateral required to build your campaigns. You will be responsible for monitoring each campaign's progress, making recommendations and iterative adjustments based on your findings. Finally, you will be responsible for setting up and / or requesting those resources necessary to setup in-depth reporting for your campaigns.

Execute tests, collect and analyze data, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns
Track, report, and analyze website analytics and PPC initiatives and campaigns
Manage campaign expenses, staying on budget, estimating monthly costs and reconciling discrepancies
Optimize copy and landing pages for paid search campaigns
Perform ongoing paid keyword discovery, expansion and optimization
Research and analyze competitor advertising links


REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Proven SEM experience and success managing PPC campaigns across Google, Yahoo, Bing, Facebook / Instagram, Twitter, and others.
Well-versed in performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in search engine marketing
In-depth experience with bid management tools (e.g., Click Equations, Marin, Kenshoo, Search Ignite)
Experience with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics, Monster Insights, Omniture, WebTrends)
Strong analytical skills and experience generating SEM reports
Familiarity with A/B and multivariate experiments
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
Experience in both the B2B and B2C advertising ecosystems


Overall, we're a pretty easygoing bunch that works our butts off and loves what we do. We know however that online advertising is an inescapable part of the modern digital ecosystem and would like someone who's ambitious and wants to own their own agency program.
