The Community Coordinator is responsible for POS orders from design to ordering to inventory in addition to performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Additionally, the Community Coordinator oversees donation requests, the Give Where You Live program, and some events in the Woods tasting room. Duties include providing support to the marketing and sales team, as well as other employees.
The Community Coordinator is a full-time position that works to support Two Beers Brewing Company, Seattle Cider Company, and Sound Craft Seltzer Company. The position reports directly to the PR & Marketing Manager, but provides additional support to the National Sales Director, Tasting Room Manager, and sales team.
•Responsible for POS (point of sale)/ Merchandise orders for TBBC, SCC, and SCSC
•Communicate order needs to vendors
•Work directly with graphic designer to develop proofs to submit to vendors
•Forecasts quantity needs for ordering and manage availability for product launches out of state and in state distributors
•Follow up on lead times and communicate to sales and marketing team around additional order needs and timelines
•Manages merchandise sales, organization, and product displays in retail space
•Manage all online retail store orders and shipments
•Support the marketing team in special events, including, but not limited to: SCC anniversary party, TBBC anniversary party, SCSC anniversary party & fresh hop season.
•Fields product donation requests from community partners
•Stages donations for pickup and clearly communicates donation list regularly to other staff to assist as needed
•Manages inventory tracking through Ekos for all donated product
•Shares logos, photos, and content with community partners along with clearly laid out expectations for how to share about our brand(s) on social channels
•Build out the “Give Where You Live” program, including but not limited to: clear communications for nonprofit partners regarding how to apply, organizing nonprofit partner GWYL events at The Woods, and following up afterward to request donation payment and debrief with nonprofit partners about wins and opportunities
•Attend nonprofit partner events to represent our brand(s)
•Coordinates shipping of samples for launch of new products
•Manage sample shipping to distributors and accounts, assist with collateral shipping
•Stock and track inventory for sales and event POS
•Coordinates and pulls product for POS orders to distributors in and out of state
•Coordinates POS shipments to outside market sales reps
•Coordinates dates and times for select events in The Woods
•Staff, attend, and/or assist with organizing select events such as anniversary parties, product releases, etc
•Responsible for receiving POS orders and entering into EKOS
•Input new POS into ShopKeep
•Monthly reporting to Controller & Accountant
•Leads inventory count for: POS backstock for Two Beers Brewing Company, Seattle Cider Company, and Sound Craft Seltzer Company (monthly)
•Answer brewery phone, reply to voicemails, and communicate messages to staff
•Direct B2B outreach to neighboring businesses to increases rentals in The Woods
•Other duties as assigned
•Bachelor’s degree preferred
•Excellent written and verbal communication
•Self-motivated, and highly organized, and able to manage a calendar
•Ability to prioritize
•Ability to interact professionally and effectively internally and externally
•Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
•Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
•Must be at least 21 years of age and licensed to serve alcohol in the State of Washington.
•Must be a flexible team player, able to multi-task and willing to “go the extra mile.”
•Must have a positive attitude and be comfortable in front of large and small groups.
•Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
• Position includes extensive standing and walking, and considerable bending.
