Marketing Assistant/Proposal Coordinator (Seattle)

Aspect Consulting, a firm specializing in earth + water science and engineering, is seeking a full-time Marketing Assistant/Proposal Coordinator to support marketing and business development goals across Aspect’s practices. The successful candidate will partner closely with our existing team of marketing professionals, writers, and technical experts to help facilitate the proposal process, coordinate with teaming partners, and help build Aspect’s brand. We’re looking for a teammate with demonstrable document layout and visual design skills. Persuasive writing skills are a major plus. Attention to detail and ability to thrive in a team setting are critical. This is a role with room for growth and an opportunity to bring new ideas to a firm that values creative energy and output.

Responsibilities include:
• Partner with others on the marketing team and senior firm leaders to coordinate and implement Aspect’s proposal efforts
• Maintain and curate a library of marketing assets (resumes, images, graphics, copy) to organize and streamline our proposal and marketing efforts
• Develop high-quality graphics, layouts, and content to clearly and compellingly relay strategic messages in our proposals and other marketing materials
• Coordinate, develop, and design website, blog, and social media content

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrable document layout, graphic design, and visual storytelling skills
• Exceptional customer service/team mentality and an eagerness to proactively pitch in and help where needed
• Proficiency with Adobe InDesign, Acrobat, Illustrator, and Photoshop (or equivalent)
• Working experience with Microsoft Office/O365 Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, etc.)
• Knack for persuasive writing and ability to distill technical concepts into a clear narrative
• Document editing capabilities, including spelling, grammar, structure, and flow
• Professional curiosity and desire to learn and understand more about Aspect’s technical expertise, projects, and clients

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
• 2+ years’ relevant experience in a professional office setting
• Experience preparing qualifications-based proposals (A/E/C industry experience is a plus, but not required)
• BA degree in related field or additional relevant experience

Workplace Setting:
• 60+ person office in Downtown Seattle
• An interactive team of 100+ professionals across eight offices in Washington and Oregon
• Casual, collaborative, and professional office environment
