After personal efforts and with no luck, I took the cell phone to the Bellevue Police Department on Wednesday, February11, 2026 @ 3;00 pm.
Address: 450 110th Avenue NE, Bellevue, WA 98004.
2nd floor. LOST and FOUND (Property and Evidence).

February 9, 2026, 7pm, Saw someone bend down to pick up a cell phone from off the ground, in a crosswalk, while I was sitting at a light in Bellevue.
She then leaned it next to a street pole, hoping that someone may come back looking for it. (?)
I was afraid it wouldn't be seen there in the dark, had just started raining or someone else, LIKE ME, would take it, and that it didn't belong to. I made a turn and went back to retrieve it, hoping to find the owner thru craigslist and will also eventually get it to the Bellevue Police Dept - Lost and found. (Will update post, when I do that).
It was found Monday night, February 9th, around 7:00 pm.
Not sure the shape it is in, some scratches/rough spots but did not appear driven over.
(Would have been crushed).
It was still lit up but had lines and a color on face of screen, that made it so one couldn't make out anything under that. Security feature or messed up phone (?) Most likely a broken screen but I do believe one can still get it fixed. Does seem locked.
I want to think one could still get their info off it but want it back to its rightful owner first.
