Qualifications & Skills:
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
Experience driving trucks and towing trailers (preferred).
Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly.
Familiarity with construction materials and tools (preferred).
Basic smartphone and app proficiency (experience with Trello preferred).
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Dependable, punctual, and professional demeanor.
Ability to pass drug screening if required.
Key Responsibilities:
Material Pickup & Delivery -
Pick up construction materials, tools, and supplies from vendors and warehouses.
Deliver materials safely and efficiently to multiple job sites.
Verify materials against purchase orders and delivery tickets to ensure accuracy.
Secure and protect materials during transport.
Returns & Vendor Coordination -
Process returns of unused or incorrect materials to suppliers.
Obtain proper documentation and credits for returned items.
Communicate with vendors regarding availability, order status, and discrepancies.
Trailer & Dump Runs -
Transport debris and waste materials to designated dump sites.
Safely load, haul, and unload trailers.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of trailers and company vehicles.
In-Store Purchasing -
Execute purchasing orders in-store as directed by dispatch and the project management teams.
Submit receipts and documentation promptly and accurately.
Project Coordination & Communication with office employees and superintendents
Use Trello to:
Track delivery schedules
Update task statuses
Communicate progress with dispatch and project managers
Maintain clear communication with office staff, project managers, and field teams.
Notify supervisors immediately of delays, shortages, or issues.
Vehicle & Equipment Maintenance:
Perform routine vehicle inspections.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of company vehicles and trailers.
Report maintenance needs promptly.
Physical Requirements:
Frequent lifting, bending, and loading/unloading materials.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Extended periods of driving and standing.
