The cylinder has a 5/8" diameter. This means your installation hole must be at least 5/8" in diameter but less than 7/8" in diameter.
The cylinder threads extend 3/8 inches. The lock nut is approx 1/8" thick. This allows installation in a panel up to 1/4 inch thick.
Optionally, the additional beauty ring and lock washer may be installed. This decreases the panel thickness application to 1/8" thick, but allows for use in a hole up to 1" in diameter.
Each lock comes with 2 keys. All the locks are keyed alike so that one key will open them all.
