++++These mirrors are NOT a throw together builds or made over sea's++++++
Making something with high end woods with lots detail that's over built to last is not cheap and takes me about 2 weeks to make.
I designed the Wood frame with the intentions of lasting Generations
*All outside corners have 2 spline cuts of Ash cross gain giving extra detail and strengthens miter joints
*Not only is each piece of wood crafted for looks but cut with a type of mortise-tendon for strength and durability
*Backer board is sold plywood using many brass screws for holding power plus strengthen the frame. Also makes for easy mirror replacement if needed.
*Mirror is ¼” thick no thin sounds here nice very sold sounding
*Finished in premium Mineral Spirits 100% food-contact safe, VOC-free wood finish conditioner designed to protect and preserve wood. Very easy to maintain
+++++ Hanging+++++
You will need to find the right type of wall anchor/screws for your “specific wall”
I choose a French Cleat.
*Cleats are strong and makes for easy on/off placement and cleaning.
*Because of the cleats the frame hangs parallel to the wall does not lean off the wall like wire hanging.
*French cleat holds the frame off the wall by 1/16” air gap. Gives an extra shadow line and room for wall lumps and bumps.
*One of the cleats is glued and screwed to backer board. The second cleat installs to the wall.
+++Need installer? For a fee I would deliver and install mirror or mirrors *** With a leaser we insure level also we can match pictures heights from across the room or to windows, doors, etc. And making sure left/right is balanced
