Early 20th century vintage antique wood stacking tables need work but beautiful
These are beautiful tables that I believe are late Victorian or early 20th century maybe tens or twenties. Full disclosure, I saw someone online selling something that looked kind of similar that they said were newer Lebanese made or something like that. So that could be but they look like antiques to me.
One way or another, they are beautiful with amazing woodwork. I don't think any of the trim details are decal or applique and are actually veneer of real wood pieces. The tops are beautiful even having mother of pearl inlay. These really deserve to shine again but the work is just beyond me.
The top one needs to be maybe wet and steamed on the bottom and clamped to shape it back to straight and then glued down, and the middle one maybe could use that a little as well, and then they all deserve to be refinished on top, although if you like the aged patina, maybe a few coats of clear coat will do to preserve and protect and they will show a beautiful patina full of character showing their age.
But they probably still need the steaming and clamping to reshape to straight.
That might seem like a bit of work but I think these would really be worth it and deserve it.
