I inherited this from my father who was an antique dealer. I believe it is from the 19th century and I think it is mahogany, but I am not 100%. It has the original top which sits on the top and is not attached, although it does not slide around and it very stable. The bureau is on wheels and can easily be moved, slid or picked up. One person can move it. It looks very nice in a room, we just don't have a ton of space for it (see pics). You can see some streaks running down the front which I am assuming is from water, but I am not sure. It sat in storage for 30 years and now it is in my house. It measures approx. 42"W x 22"L x 32"T.
No rush to sell, but will for a fair price. Open to offers.I am open to offers and if you have any additional info about this type of furniture I would appreciate any insight. Cash only thanks!
