🎵 Music Teachers Wanted – All Instruments (Especially Beginning Piano/Keyboard!) | Henderson Academy of Music
Greater Seattle Area – Choose Your Hours, Service Area, and Curriculum
I’m looking for passionate, reliable music teachers who want to make a difference in students’ lives.
At Henderson Academy of Music, lessons aren’t just about notes and technique—they’re about building confidence, sparking curiosity, and helping students discover the joy of making music.
As an in-home private instructor, you will be travelling to students' homes for lessons. You choose your service area (you'll never have to travel further than you want—only accept the students that work for your schedule) and you choose your schedule.
Most of our students are kids age 5–12, though we do have teenage and adult students as well.
We service the Greater Seattle Area—Seattle, Eastside, South Seattle, Shoreline, etc. Wherever you live, we can get you students in your area.
If you can teach piano—especially beginner piano for kids—in addition to your primary instrument, I’d especially like to hear from you. All instruments are welcome.
🎼 What We Offer
Top Instruments in Demand: Piano, Guitar, Violin, Voice, Drums (plus all others welcome!)
Flexible Scheduling: You set your own hours and travel area—work as much or as little as you’d like.
Student Referrals: I connect you with students so you can focus on teaching.
Teaching Freedom: Choose your own teaching style and curriculum (some basic piano teaching guidance available if needed).
🎯 What I’m Looking For
Experienced or degreed musicians – OR equivalent teaching experience.
Adaptable teachers – comfortable teaching different ages and skill levels.
Strong communicators – especially great with kids and families.
Professional & reliable – on time, prepared, and committed to student growth.
Transportation – reliable vehicle required (lessons are in students’ homes).
Work eligibility – must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
💡 Why Teach With Us?
We handle the scheduling, billing, and marketing so you can do what you do best—teach and inspire. Our goal is to create meaningful connections between students and teachers that go far beyond the music itself.
