For sale is my 1984 Volkswagen Vanagon Westfalia Camper with 295,000 miles.
I have meticulously maintained and tastefully modified this Vanagon over the last 11 years to create a camper that retains the charm of the 1984 model—from the original brown paint with stripes, to the classic look of its interior—while featuring modern comforts like a Vanagon tachometer, Bluetooth stereo, exterior thermometer, seats with armrests and heated seat covers, and a lights-on buzzer.
The original 1.9L engine has been replaced with a 2.1L Vanagon engine, performance stainless steel exhaust, and rebuilt transmission. Consistent oil pressure visible on the dash gauge and a steady 16 mpg average over 9 years show that the engine is in good health.
The body has very little rust and has been thoughtfully enhanced with features like upgraded suspension, headlights, and foglights; all new cooling system radiator, hoses and clamps; sound deadening throughout the cabin; and a robust 125 amp-hour camping electrical system containing marine-grade wire and connectors. With a sturdy awning, propane furnace, and pop-top rainfly, this Vanagon is ready for trips in any weather.
Please reach out to arrange a time to inspect and test drive the van.
