An opportunity to own a unique piece of World War II history. This barn find is an original owner unrestored 1935 Chevrolet Master deluxe sedan. It was garaged in 1969 never to see the light of day until now. The original owner was in military service and this vehicle was regularly found performing duties on the docks at the Seattle Port of Embarkation during World War 2. The port of embarkation identification sticker is still proudly displaying the vehicles number (566) on the windshield.

Since its discovery the vehicle has seen a qualified mechanic to inspect the drivetrain, flush/replace fluids, spark plugs, etc to ensure it was safe to start. It’s hard not to feel as if you’ve time traveled back 86 years when the 207 cubic inch inline six engine fires up with all the fury of 80 horsepower. Runs like a smooth mechanical watch. The 3 speed manual transmission shifts well and the mechanical braking system seems to be doing well as the car stops at the prompt request of your foot. Hand brake holds well. The tires are certainly vintage but have held air since being inflated.

The body by fisher has aged well despite the minimal surface rust and appears to be pretty straight. The double suicide doors are a neat quirky feature of this vehicle. The interior is…. Well it looks its age. Scattered on the seats amongst a collection of dust from the past 8 decades are fragments of newspapers from the time. The original fabric is frayed but is otherwise in complete condition with the driver elbow rest being the only real eyesore in the cabin space. All of the gauges seem to display their data properly.

It runs and drives but beside that it has been left untouched in the condition it was found. If you’re looking for a unique piece of history or the perfect candidate for a restoration project look no further, this time capsule awaits.
Serious inquiries please. If you would like to set up an appointment to view the vehicle please email with your contact information.
