Looking to possibly sale my clean title 1998 Porsche Boxster due to non-use. The car is a 5-speed manual with black exterior and gray leather interior. The car runs and drives with no mechanical issues although it has some of the typical afflictions for this vehicle's age, make, and model. I purchased the vehicle in 2022 with three notable upgrades, Bilstein B 16 (PSS-10) coilovers, LN-Engineering Oil Filter Adapter, and LN Engineering IMS Retrofit kit. I've changed the oil (yearly w/ Amsoil), accessory drive belt, and brake fluid since I acquired the vehicle. The vehicle is garaged year around.
The car came factory with the following options:
XLA – Polished stainless steel exhaust outlet
222 – Traction control (ASR)
224 – Automatic Braking Differential
232 – Internal production code related to tires
396 – 17″ 996 Carrera-look twist-spoke wheels
424 – CD compartment
446 – Wheel caps with painted Porsche crest
454 – Automatic speed control
490 – Six-speaker sound system
502 – Produced at Valmet plant in Uusikaupunki, Finland
535 – Alarm
551 – Wind deflector
582 – Storage pocket on engine cover
688 – CD-radio Becker Porsche CDR-210
The known issues are as follows:
- The HVAC blend door foam is starting to fail, it still switches from heat to a/c.
- The CDR 210 radio does not turn on.
- The windshield has a stone chip with no radiating cracks (see pictures).
- The car does have some paint chips and minor scratches (see pictures).
Thank you for your interest, feel free to send message/email if you have any questions.
I do not need assistance selling the vehicle. I will not respond to any unreasonable offers.
