Selling my 1966 Sunbeam Alpine, nice original car, originally sold in Seattle, good history, rare overdrive transmission, odometer reads 39,756 but it's a replacement speedometer that was part of the overdrive upgrade as the speedometers are different. Rebuilt transmission and overdrive were sourced from the U.K. New clutch, new clutch hydraulics, new windshield, very nice interior, good top, great tonneau cover, Konis front and rear, Michelin XVS tires. Runs and drives great. I am the 3rd owner. Car has the original license plate that was put on the car when it was first licensed in Seattle by the original owner. Purchase from a lifelong British car mechanic who maintained the car for the original owner's daughter before buying it from her.
Sunbeams are a more comfortable, more civilized British roadster than an MGB. Fans of Get Smart remember the red Sunbeam Tiger Don Adams drove in the opening scene of the show. The MKV has the lower, more attractive rear fins and the larger 1725cc engine. Would love to keep this car, I had one 40+ years ago, but I need the cash and the space to take advantage of another opportunity. Grab this classic today.
