camera module / microcontroller interfacing project for New Product (Seattle)

Your Tasks:
1) Determine whether this project can use a microcontroller, or would a Single Board Computer (SBC) be required? My preference is something like an ESP32 if possible, as the product is cost sensitive, but any low-cost low-power design that works, works.
2) Interface a small, cheap high resolution camera module to process and save an image file and sync it to a phone app (with or without Internet). A remote bluetooth shutter button will activate the sequence.
The required resolution of the camera sensor is yet to be determined, but probably a minimum of 12MP.
3) The camera doesn’t face the subject straight on in one axis, so code is needed to de-skew the perspective from the image in that axis. This angle will be fixed in the product, so once the code is dialed-in for the prototype, all units will be the same thereafter.
It could be done in the phone App or in the controller.
If you have expertise getting good images with low-cost hardware, even if not all aspects, like phone-syncing, or the de-skewing, that's OK. Those aspects can be addressed separately.
If skilled & interested, tell me what you've done and your contact info. I'll shoot you an NDA and send you the specs so you can quote the project.
