Vintage circa:1940s
Beautiful lambswool muff
Black Astrakhan
Has a zipper pocket to double as a purse. (Regular size phone fits!)
Inside and pocket lined with black satin
11" wide x approx 9' wide
Astrakhan (also spelled astrachan) is, properly speaking, the tightly curled fleece of ther newborn karakul (also spelled caracul) lamb. True astrakhan comes in a range of colours from pale golden yellow to black, though black is the most desirable.
