This was a take-off handlebar from my 1984 Trek 620, a time when they put a 39cm bar on a 62cm frame. The bike was purchased new in 1984, ridden about 100 miles and then put in storage until I bought it in 2024. So 100 miles on the bar. I ride a 44cm bar, so these came off.

In the photos, you will see that there is some residue from the original bar tape. The residue comes off, but you'll cover it with the new bar tape anyway.
