I bought this vessel from the University of Washington (it was there research vessel, prior to that a navy U boat) I turned it into a live aboard. I'm disabled and no longer can maintain it. It has turned into a cosmetic project to get her back in shape.
Mechanically sound and sea worthy
50 foot length, 12 foot beam, 4.5 foot draft, fold up 4' x 8' swim step
6 71 diesel (2700 hrs, should go 10,000 before rebuild is needed)

The back house plywood was not marine grade and needs to be removed , read this again, the added portion needs to be removed, the bones of the addition are great the skin of the added part needs replacing.
Paint out side is needed

They don't survey wooden boats in the area any longer.
I won't waste your time, I will tell you exactly everything. The last haul out was 4 years ago random fasteners were checked, each looked brand new. No planks needed replaced.
I stated an addition was added the skin of it needs to be removed ,the bones of it are correct and sound. Fual tanks are visible and are in great shape. I would consider owner carry under the right circumstance with 1/4 down. I understand you need every detail acknowledged being a distance away, The stern deck trim needs renewed, the hual weeps and the bulge holds about 2 inches of water, this is normal and necessary for a wooden boat. I have had a marine mechanic look over it would share his contact info to share what his assessment of the boat is.
I realize the work needed and cost of moving is why it is economically priced.
