So we've all heard the stories - DYC is pretty unique, yes its overdue for dredging but for now lots of boats sit quite comfortably in the silt at low tides and have for years without problem. Most boats need about +4 tide to get in and out of safely and that takes a little extra planning. In exchange for that you get plentiful secure parking, a great fresh / salt water mix that reduces growth, great protection from the elements and a fantastic supportive community that looks out for one another. Includes dock water, 30 amp power (usage fees apply) clubhouse access with showers and laundry.
The process is a little more involved than most marinas, but the end result is well worth the effort. All applications have to be approved by the marina leadership and require a criminal background check and credit check as well as a boat safety inspection. Your safety and your boat's security is worth it.
