The Torquedo Travel 1103 CS electric motor is equivalent to a 4 horsepower 4-stroke motor. In its current configuration, the boat will hydro-plane at ~7 kts if the rider total weight is less than 180# and sitting 3/4 of the way forward in the boat using the tiller extender (included). Otherwise the boat is happiest at roughly 3.5 kts using 100watts per hr.
Battery life of the electric motor varies greatly depending on use intensity. I estimate that at full power output, the battery will last roughly 45 minutes. Typical use with some bursts of acceleration and general speeds under 4 kts have the battery lasting for roughly 6 hours, and ultra low demand of 25 watts (1-2 kts) have the battery lasting for much longer.
The boat and motor come with one tiller extender, two bright blue 5/16 x 10' dock lines, and one red elastic quick tie dock line. This is a teriffic boat and motor combination, easy to transport, highly functional at a bargain.

Durable Single-Seam Construction
The hulls are constructed with a single seam, rather than the double seams on standard inflatables. Less seam work minimizes the likelihood of damage at the weakest spots of the boat. The seams use a chemically bonded gluing system for durability against brittleness.
