This 2018 Colnago V1-R superbike named "Dark Angel" is a no expense spared machine built up by/for ex pro racer & master mechanic Bre Rue when she raced for Colnago (though it was never raced as her C60 & CLD were the race bikes). It weighs a scant 14.7 pounds as photographed! Every single inch of this bike is covered in top shelf parts, not a single part that's not upgraded to its highest spec! While the lugged C60 was $1500 more expensive the V1-R's monocoque frame was vastly faster & lighter at 835 grams ( fork + frame + HS + seat binder). The frameset retailed for $4,750 and complete built like this MSRP would be likely ~$11,000
Condition
Mint with very low miles ridden, 3657 to be exact. Bre tells me "It mostly hung up on the wall at West End bikes and was only ridden on super nice summer days, after I retired from racing, so it was never raced"
I can't find a single blemish worth noting. The frame is practically perfect, as are most parts. Its not "new", but unless you look at the light wear/dirt on the chain/cassette/chainrings you wouldn't know it. It has been ridden and it does have SOME imperfections, but of a highly insignificant type (though most of anything you see in the pics is dust). Bre tuned it up before handing it over and its in perfect tune.
Sizing
This is Colnago's size 42 sloping which fits like a 50cm (50cm effective top tube). Their sizing chart indicates it is ideal for riders roughly 5'1" to 5'4" and saddle heights between 60.5cm to 64cm (though as they offer many sizes and the size chart is geared towards selecting the perfect fitting frame, there's probably good fits just outside those ranges too).
