1998 Redline Cyclocross Road Gravel Bicycle Bike 48 Cm Vintage Classic

This is a great classic bike in good condition. I'm not sure if components are all original or what. You may want to change them or like them just as they are.

Cyclocross bikes are not quite a road bike although perfectly suitable in that regard, not really a mountain bike but suitable for gravel and trails as part of a ride. Designed to be versatile and lightweight so it can be carried.

Olympic discipline of cycling that can best de described as a cross between road cycling, mountain biking and steeplechase. Watching cyclists dismount their bikes to run up stairs and steep embankments often arouses questions about the origin of the sport.

Not so extreme as to only be suitable for serious road riding, so definitely a great around town bike with a bit of vintage style. But also can take a little beating on gravel or dirt roads and trails. Certainly can get a little muddy and knocked around and remain functional.

I've been advised that the measurements will be somewhere between a road bike and a mountain bike, with higher bottom bracket to accommodate bumps and obstacles and such, so while a road bike measurement of 48 cm would suggest a certain size rider, this would be more like a 50 cm or maybe a little taller. Please investigate for yourself and you are welcome to come and take it for a test ride.

This is a great chance to have a classic bike with a great vintage look, But also a nice rugged functional rider.
