1988 vintage Raleigh Scott Tinley Tri-lite technium triathlon bicycle - $150 (Northgate)

This is a great high quality vintage bike. The triathlon bike is like a road bike with a few differences. I will let you worry about that as you probably know more than I do already. Slightly different riding position and such, named for famous triathlon rider Scott Tinley, famous triathlete and two-time world iron Man winner.
The color scheme is an awesome '80s mix of yellow gray and pink. It is complete and in good shape overall, but it will need a few things. The bars only have one brake lever for the back brake. The cable housing is there but the cable will need to be replaced. It will need a lever and cable and brake pads for the front brake, But the original white front and back brakes are there. Other than that it seems to be complete although I don't know about originality. I have a few part bikes laying around If you want to take a lever and brake pads maybe. But you may prefer to just put some good quality replacements.
It has flat bars put on, and maybe some other modifications, so it's already a bit converted to more of a city bike. But you can also restore it back to triathlon trim. The wheels are fine but the presta valve hole has been drilled out to Schrader valve size. Tubes hold air and the tires are good with matching yellow trim.
