Very Good condition, but please look very closely at the photos to verify details
*54cm C-C Top-tube. 54cm C-C Down-tube
*Hand-built Reynolds 531-Pro steel fork/frame weighs 4.5lbs on digital scale w/o headset
*Very Nice Quality Investment cast lugs, fork-crown and BB shell
*Campagnolo Drop-Outs, Porta-catena rear
*Head-tube Pump Peg, Chain-hanger braze-on, 2 H2O bottle mounts
*Includes excellent condition Campagnolo NR Headset
*Perfectly straight with No damage, scrapes, dings or dents; Zero gravel kick-back on underside of down-tube.
*All decals 100% intact, with paint rubbed off by top tube cable and right shifter(?)
*Structural Condition 10 out of 10, Cosmetically 8 out of 10
Additional useful information:
*Repainted by Trek factory "Red Barn", (google to see).
*Originally equipped with Full Campy Super Record 7 speed, 126mm rear spacing.
*Frame was handmade using Silver soldering (low temp) on very light and thin 531 Pro tubing, and was Trek's top-end effort in 84
*Made on 4/13/84 and was only one of twenty-four 54cm size frames of this type for 1984.
*They surely do not make them like this anymore, easily on par w/any top world steel frame of its vintage
*I will meet or beat any comparable frame at lesser price; let's just be sure we compare apples to apples (-:
