No tariffs here – just quality lumber at wholesale prices, direct from a local artisan getting ready to retire!
I’m helping a friend downsize his business as he gets his proverbial ducks in a row for a relaxing retirement. He’s been crafting live-edge and slab furniture since 2005, and in that time, he’s gathered a significant volume of lumber in his Ballard WA showroom, which also serves as secondary storage.
Over 11,919 board feet of high-quality, ethically sourced local hardwood is available for wholesale, and priced to move. (Pics show some of the inventory, but there’s lots more not shown in these shots!) The majority is black walnut and elm slabs sustainably harvested from trees felled in and around the Yakima Valley, with double live edges and chainsaw cut ends. There are smaller volumes of other hardwoods, plus a selection of dimensional lumber and stumps, available to anyone who makes a wholesale purchase of walnut and/or elm.
All inventory is rough, with no jointing, planing, or sanding done. Everything is securely stored with no exposure to the elements, and either air dried for 6+ years or air dried for up to 3 years and then kiln dried. Slabs have been kept as wide as possible, with many appropriate for large-scale projects (conference table, dining tables, desks, benches, etc.).
We’d be happy to welcome you in for a tour if you have serious interest in a wholesale purchase and want to take a look at what’s in stock. The more you buy, the more you’ll save! We have a forklift onsite and can assist with load-out of anything you purchase. Please note that our stock is subject to change at any time as sales are made.
If you have any questions or would like to set up an appointment to check out our inventory, please let me know. We’re eager to get this lumber into the hands of skilled artisans who can appreciate the wild beauty of these old trees and give them new life!
