Gay Marines was composed by Dorothy Gaynor Blake, published in 1933 by The Willis Music Co, Cincinnati, Ohio. It was one of four pieces in the set Four Military Sketches. (Others were The Drum Corps, The Busy Bugle, and Make Way for the Band.) W.M. Co 5325-2.

The music is in excellent condition, with tiny markings, a few wrinkles, ΒΌ" tears on the edge, corners slightly dog-eared. For a piece that is 85 years old, it is in excellent condition!

Text:
Come and go with the gay marines, Come join the Navy now!
Eat our jam and our navy beans, Come join the Navy now.
O, come and ride the ocean blue, And see the world that waits for you,
For it welcomes the gay Marines, so join the Navy now!
