Fabulous looking 1960's Hotpoint aqua blue refrigerator modified into a cool kegerator. All the magnets will be removed- it will be 100% clean inside and out. These fridges were built to last forever, so they make very reliable & sturdy kegerators. I had this fridge modified about 4 years ago ands its been terrific. The fridge cooling works perfectly, zero issues and has a nice freezer for glasses and ice. I have defrosted it only twice in 4 years- needs no maintenance.
The kegerator parts need a tune up for sure but is working. I would suggest a new regulator as this one is old and is not really worth rebuilding. It comes with a cleaning kit for the pipes and some extra tap handles/ musc parts. The fridge has two metal shelves that are not installed right now also.
This makes a terrific bar or garage addition and super stylish mid century look to boot. Why buy a crappy new Chinese built kegerator that will guaranteed break down in a year or two when you can own this piece of Americana beauty?
It's 62" High, 28" Wide and 26" Deep. Not loud at all. I love it but I need the man-cave space back for a 1962 jukebox!
* Note the most important thing is to move a fridge properly; otherwise you will break it. The move from my spot is easy, level, no stairs and she can be loaded right out of my garage into your truck or trailer, keeping it upright and jot on its side. You'll need two of you to move - I have dollys and handtrucks to help get it loaded.
