We're hiring a Shuttle Driver at our Lacey location (7644 Betti Lane NE). If you have a Class A CDL, we'll provide the training for NCCCO certification. This is a fantastic career opportunity
The primary responsibilities for this position will be delivering product to project sites, traveling to and from Eastern Washington over mountain passes, loading trucks/trailers, and other delivery-related duties. The ideal candidate for this position has a Class A CDL and/or NCCCO Certification with a clean driving record, can communicate effectively with others, works well in a team setting, is able to lift up to 75 lbs. on a regular basis, has excellent attendance, and comes to work every day with a “can-do” attitude. This position works primarily outside in the elements year-round.
The Training Plan
Initially, to learn the truss manufacturing industry, you will be paired up with another driver and begin by driving a flatbed truck and/or Tractor-Trailer. From there, you will graduate to solo driving of a flatbed and/or a Tractor-Trailer.
About the Position
This is a full-time position, Monday – Friday, home each night.
Start times vary based on scheduled deliveries and operational needs. This position requires the ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime as needed to meet operational requirements.
Starting Wage is between $25-$35 per hour DOE and certifications. There is a possible increase upon a successful 90-day review. There is a guaranteed increase upon graduating with a NCCCO certification.

CDL Class A (Required)
Experience:
· Driving: 1 year (Preferred)
Qualifications and Requirements include:
Clean driving record (Driving abstract will be requested yearly)
Lifting up to 75 lbs. on a regular basis (required)
Forklift Certification or ability to obtain within 3 months of employment
Able to climb on/off trucks as needed to strap down loads
Able to work outside in the element year-round
Work in a team environment
Have attention to detail
Able to multi task
Able to transport material over mountain passes
Previous experience preferred
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
Load trucks/trailers
Shuttle product between locations and/or meet cranes on job sites
Deliver product to job sites
Organizing/staging for next day deliveries
Other duties as assigned
