As a Dog Groomer you will be the heart and soul of our pet care team, ensuring that every furry friend leaves looking and feeling their best! Your role will encompass grooming services, pet handling, and providing exceptional customer service to pet owners. You will have the opportunity to showcase your skills in dog grooming and animal care while creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for both pets and their owners.
What you’ll do:
Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for various dog breeds
Handle dogs with care and compassion, ensuring their comfort throughout the grooming process
Provide basic training tips to pet owners on maintaining their dog's coat between grooming sessions on case by case basis
Manage your own schedule and the scheduling of appointments for other groomers
Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming needs and preferences as well as any issues that may arise
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the grooming area to ensure a safe environment for pets and maintaining grooming equipment
Basic qualifications:
Proven experience in pet grooming or related fields such as veterinary technician or assistant roles
Strong skills in dog handling and animal restraint techniques
Preferred qualifications:
Grooming experience including the ability to work alone effectively and efficiently
Interest in potential mobile grooming position a plus
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
