There will be a total of five people living in the house, with three bathrooms between us. There is an art studio which you would be invited to use. That includes pottery and wood working equipment. Tons of landscaping and gardening space to have fun with. A small home theatre is on the same floor as the bedroom and free to use. A Chinese-style root table + tea set is set up in the front room for hosting tea in addition to the dining space, etc. Very quiet neighborhood. On-street parking in cul-de-sac available. Private lake access to Ward Lake included.
Rent is $750 + an equal share of utilities. Utilities are currently $100/mo but subject to change. Rent is month-to-month. $400 refundable deposit + last month's rent + first month's pro-rata rent due on signing. Roommates are responsible for an equal share of yard work, maintaining the landscape to a basic level (e.g. mowing the lawn).
Roommates will be expected to help keep the space clean and inspiring. Incense welcome inside, but no smoking or vaping anywhere on the property, including 420. Sometimes we cook together, work on the landscape together, etc. I also teach pottery and open the art studio up for free on a weekly basis; you are welcome to join!
We welcome people of all sorts. I am the "landlord" and also live in the house. Part of the time I will be in Seattle working on my PhD at University of Washington. The rental income helps pay my housing costs while I'm going to school. There are also 2 cats. No additional pets welcome.
