The Law Offices of Kamela James, located in downtown Olympia, is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney with 2–3 years of personal injury litigation experience to join our growing firm. We are a well-established Thurston County law firm with an excellent reputation, a collaborative team of three attorneys, and an outstanding support team. This is a great opportunity for an attorney who wants to work in a litigation-focused practice with a strong team culture and a steadily growing client base.
Responsibilities include managing cases through all phases of litigation, client intakes and interviews, drafting demand packages and negotiating claims, drafting complaints and handling discovery, taking and defending depositions, drafting and arguing motions, handling arbitrations and assisting with trial preparation, and trial with supervision.
Qualifications:
2–3 years of personal injury litigation experience
Strong legal research and writing skills
Excellent interpersonal and client communication skills
