EARN your Diploma or GED LEARN employability skills GIVE back to your community GET a paycheck -- up $400 each month!
YouthBuild is a full-time program through Community Youth Services at New Market Skills Center that helps young people ages 16-20 earn their high school diploma or GED while getting hands-on training and work experience in the Construction Trades or Nursing. We also partner with Habitat for Humanity to build homes for low-income families.
Many of our students have fallen behind in school and struggled with obstacles that are getting in the way of their path to success -- including homelessness, poverty, violence, abuse, addiction, and lack of support. YouthBuild offers hope and support to overcome those obstacles. Throughout the program you will become part of a team and build lasting relationships with other students and staff who are committed to helping you reach your goals in the classroom, on the jobsite, and in life -- all while earning up to $400 each month!
Students who qualify for YouthBuild must be:
Age 16-20 years old
Committed to earning your Diploma or GED
Ready to learn employability skills and earn a paycheck
Determined to make positive changes
Interested in learning about Construction Trades or Nursing
We will only be taking applications for a limited time for the 2018-19 school year, so please get in touch with us today!
