Great opportunity to start your own business as a mobile paper shredder. I have a very nice 2012 Freightliner M2 106 mobile paper shredding truck. This was a fleet truck that has been well maintained. With just 240k miles on the Cummins ISB 6.7L engine mated to an Allison 3500 RDS 6 speed automatic transmission, this truck will keep you going for a long time. This is a 33,000 lb. truck which does require a CDL to drive. It has air brakes, all 6 wheels are Alcoa forged aluminum with 0 curb rash and good tires all around. The shredder box is made by Shred Tech which sells this truck new for $220,000. The model is a 30GT-349-04-11. The previous owner disabled the shredder by removing a control module which can be purchased through Shred Tech. This truck has a 14,000 pound payload for efficient operation. Looking online shows that businesses typically pay $1-$2 per pound of paper shredded, plus you can also sell the shredded paper to a recycling facility for additional revenue.
