We are sadly selling our extraordinary Trails West Sierra 3-horse gooseneck horse trailer with comfort package, side tack, mangers, extra storage, plugs into external power for camping, and much, much more. The time has come for us to downside. We are the second owner of this trailer, having purchased it in 2014. We have kept the trailer under cover. It pulls straight and true behind our truck. We have two sets of keys for the locks listed. All pictures are of the actual trailer being sold. You can see from the pictures the trailer is in good shape. Asking $15,500.00
Trails West Sierra 3-horse gooseneck with comfort package (means the gooseneck area is insulated and the horse area is insulated). The gooseneck area has extra room, a two-socket plugin, a cabinet, boot box, mirrors, and more storage in the forward tip of the gooseneck. This gooseneck does NOT have those forever-leaking ceiling vents. There are four windows. The gooseneck area locks.
Side tack with 4-saddle swing-out rack and 8-bar swing out blanket rack, many bridle hooks, water tank, a door with a window, and door organizer. The side tack locks.
Mangers provide extra storage on the exterior (to store hay bales, hose, bagged shavings, folding chairs, folding wheelbarrow, window screens, trailer wheel chalks, tool box, step ladder, etc.). Each storage door locks.
Drop-down windows on the nose wall of the horse area with a set of bars behind and the bars drop down too. Slider windows with bars on the butt wall. A slider window with bars in each rear door. Three overhead, two-way vents. All this gives the horse area plenty of air circulation in the summer. The windows along with the insulated walls keep the horse area comfortably cool in the summer. The drop-down windows lock.
We have comfortably camped at horse shows with this trailer. The previous owner, her husband, and two young children camped in the Oregon mountains with this trailer. Used for trail ride hauling, there are not many places this trailer has not been. You may note there is a crunch at the forward tip of the running board on the butt side of the trailer. You may also note the wheel well on the nose side of the trailer is misshapen. During Covid we had a tire tread separate with a bang. The wheel well has not been replaced as our go-to trailer fixing business had to close during Covid. The wheel well condition does not interfere with hauling or tying horses. We have considered these and other age-related blemishes in our asking price.
