I’m looking for a very special kind of help for my dog, and this is not easy for me to ask.
I am not looking to permanently rehome him. I am hoping to find someone experienced and kind who would be willing to foster him temporarily, help with consistent training, and care for him until I’m able to take him back. My intention is to keep him in my life—I just need support during a very difficult season.
Right now, I’m the primary caregiver for my mother and grandmother, both of whom are dealing with dementia. Because of that, my time and energy have become very limited, and I can’t give my dog the level of structure, attention, and training he truly deserves.
He is deeply loved and not neglected in any way. I actually rescued him from a bad situation, and we’ve built a strong bond—I don’t want to lose that. I just want to make sure he has stability, proper training, and a home where he can thrive in the meantime.
I’m hoping to find someone patient, experienced, and compassionate—someone who understands how strong the bond with a dog can be, and who would be open to working with me so I can bring him home again once things stabilize.
If you have a kind heart and think you might be able to help, please reach out. This means more to me than I can put into words
