Bacchetta Giro Recumbent Bicycle with 26 Inch wheels (both wheels are the same size) in very good condition for sale. It has 27 gears (triple chainring in front and 9 gears in the rear) and SRAM X-7 9-speed twist shifters and rear derailleur, 1134 cassette, AVID brake levers, Single Digit V-brakes, Ergon PC2 pedals, and a FSA Tempo crankset (170mm length arms, 30/42/52 tooth chainrings). It also has an upgraded seat cushion and pad called a Ventifit. It has Formula 6-bolt disc-brake ready sealed bearing hubs in case you want to upgrade the brakes, and the frame and fork also have disc-brake mounts. The tires are Schwalbe Marathon+ 26" tires with reflective stripes, and the bike also has Planet Bike fenders on the front and rear wheels.
I am not the original owner so I do not know exactly how old it is, I'm guessing 5-10 years, but it seems to have been ridden very little as there are hardly any signs of use. The current new version of the Giro seems to sell for $4,250 on Bacchetta's website, and this bike does essentially the same thing.
